You guys should definately try this. Get a brita pitcher that comes with a filter. And buy cheap as hell vodka. Like 11$ for 1.75 liters, McCormick ;). Then just filter it like 4 or 5 times and it is almost as good as premium vodka like Grey Goose. It really takes the bite of the aftertaste away.
Excellent trick ;).

a) this actually works
b) I know from experience
c) the cheaper the vodka the better; more than $7 per 1.75 is too much.
d) this works with any alcohol product that is distilled (gin)
e) don't use a Brita you intend to use for water; the alcohol contaminates the filter.

Wait...you guys haven't heard about this? Google it...there's a lot of step-by-step tutorials for PVC projects to filter efficiently.

My friend did this for me when he got me some McCormick's.
I'd never had McCormick's before that anyway, but it went down pretty smooth.

You use the word contaminates like its a bad thing....maybe you meant "flavorizes"??

By far the best, most comprehensive "scientific trial" I've seen. I'll look for some links on the PVC construction...
Can't wait to try it. You guys might kill me, but I like the hard taste of vodka, it feels kinda good.

When I was doing a lot of drinking I loved the taste of vodka. Now it's been so long that I don't have the immunity to it that I used to. shrug

Cheap and makes me ....a bit....intoxicated....and alot more fun.
