now that mxtabs.net doesn't have tabs anymore, where do you guys get your online tabs from? for guitar bass, etc. or are you guys that hardcore at guitars that you don't need it? cause i'm pretty bad and i need it (

government issues i think? they had the largest database of tabs.

uhh thanks for the link there TSJ but they don't have quite the selection i had in mind, considering the underground rock kind of music i listen to.

For the most part i don't use tabs and write my own music however http//www.guitartabs.cc is pretty good.

anything im lookin to play can be eared out or found on a artist specific site. I did use mx from time to time

ive always used mxtabs.net..... or if they failed me id just do a search

I used to use www.tabcrawler.com[]www.tabcrawler.com back in the day then I used www.powertabs.net[]www.powertabs.net a lot. I don't know if tab crawler is still up because I don't feel like checking but I know powertabs went down because of this stupid government crackdown.

Use Ultimate-Guitar and just grab the PowerTabs they have on there. Most of them are from Power Tab Archive before it got shut down. PowerTabs are the best tabs you could get, they're not only accurate, but are easier to learn from.

I'm learning the intro to Stairway to Heaven right now.

Yeah ultimate-guitar or tabrobot.com if nothing else works, it's searches different tab sites.

P.S. I'm pretty bummed that Powertabs and MXtabs don't work anymore.

mxtabs was the best...

I used MXTabs for drum tabs back in the day. But alas, the government fucks us all in the end. Ah well, what can we do?

... Yes, I'm just saying this to show off... fan tabs online can KISS MY ASS!!! I used to use that shit when I first started playing guitar and I couldn't tell you how many tabs I ran into that weren't even remotely close to what was actually played. I dare say, the vast majority was off too much for my liking, so before long, I just figured it out for myself and reccomend the same for everyone. You can really advance that way. Aren't I so cool? Don't you want to be just like me? I'm gonna go watch Pokemon now and later I'll be going to work at a grocery store bagging groceries for minimum wage and when I get off, I'm gonna go rent Brokeback Mountain!
