A quick fix for 'operating' on live code?
It's like giving a thief/doctor +karma for removing the bullet after he shot ya.
Although as a site admin myself... I'm just too damn lazy to have a full mirror that I can work on before making the instant switch to the live stuff. (Like the BIG companies do)

Ya, sometimes I think I have code working right on my local computer, then when I upload it to my website, I get tons of errors. Sometimes the live enviroment can be slightly different than the test enviroment (if you have one). D
Thanks for the quick fix anyways. )

oh screw you darkscout. it was a single line of sql and it caused a whopping 45 seconds of downtime.

wtf
you should be hosting a test site, a dev site, and a live site, all on 3 different hosts
also, there should be a redundant mirror of each, on 3 more different hosts
gosh
