Usually you do a conga line to a song with a fast latin beat, so they move along pretty quickly. The cruise I was on, we must have gone around the main deck of the boat 3-4 times in under 10 minutes. INSANE!

how long you have to wait in a conga is directly related to how much you and others in line are willing to advertise the conga. it is counterintuitive but, there are short congas that are very slow and hardly move at all and there are long congas that are doing very well. you also dont want to join one that "dissapears" once the admin gets his referrals. pm me if you would like to know about a forum that deals specifically with congas for many free sites.
