It doesn't say he's not attending school...I'd assume he is. Also, there is A LOT of money in professional gaming - you've just got to be good enough to win it )

I went to MLG houston last year, me and a buddy wanted to try our hand at SSBM, needless to say we sucked and lost every possible match. Anyhow after we got blown away as quickly as possible we just watched the halo kids, being as we played that a lot then too.

we watched some of STK, and saw some of him too. He was really good, and always knew what he was doing.

you have to be rediously good enough to win, its the same 15 people that win

I've been involved with MLG since October of 2004. Lil Poison is all around incredible at console gaming. He is great, and not just good for his age. He recently placed 2nd in a tournament of 550+ participants in a FFA, losing only to his Uncle (Poison who beat him out).

His father goes to all events with him, and afterwards they always do something non video game related together. They went and saw a rodeo at Houston and have done all sorts of other things. They understand there is more to life than video games. He's a well mannered kid, and the clips of him on TV all show him behaving with more maturity than most kids that age.

Some people are just next level good at this stuff. I was really good at CS. I owned my clan and would get banned from public servers for being a hacker all the time (and I wasn't). One time I played against some CAL guys and I couldn't get a kill. Its like I went retarded or something...

I never had time enough to practice with a team and junk.

You have to make time if you are that good and know you can have a future in that industry.

I have not played Halo 2 in a while, I should get online some time. I just need to get a new mic, I hate playing without one. When I played I would always strive to get the sniper rifle, as that was my favorite weapon. We would sometimes play snipers but never use a scope on lockout, it was pretty fun.

I played Fatal1ty in that Screensavers match. Out of everyone playing, I ended up killing him the second most....It was UT2K4
