So I just called video professor to see if they could give me a refund on my lesson I got billed for. The guy said he couldn't, but instead they are sending me a free digital camera! o
I'm sure it's prolly a piece, but I thought that was pretty cool of them at least. I'm not being re-enrolled into the program or anything, he said just to compesate me. shrug

hmmm... if that was me, I would have asked him about 10 times, "okay, so I am cancelled and I am definitely not going to be charged for anything, right?" I always do that because they offer stuff last minute, "Okay, I sign you up real good offer, you like you like!"

No, i did. He actually restated it all while it was being recorded. I will not be billed or recieve any other lessons unless request them.
And I was billed ~$70 shock
Seems like it would have to be a total POS for it not to be worth $70 atleast

Ah man, they're totally riipping you off. You're going to get one of those $20 World's smallest digital camera pieces of crap and they pocket $50. Ask for your money back. VP is one of the worst companies...

Well I was past the time frame for a refund. To compensate me I could either get a digital camera or another lesson to keep. So, no matter what it is, better than nothing, which was what I expected.

i ended my subscription a while back, and as you probally know you are required to send in the lesson you recieved. They told me I had like 6 weeks or so to return it with your authorization #, so I put in on the backburner and eventually forgot about it.
They charged me near the end of Jan for that lesson, and they say that charge is non-refundable. i suppose it is digital-camerable tho.

Hmm...that sucks. That offer was totally free for me since I got a refund for the S&H, and used the Stamps.com offer to send it back for free )
