I need a program that I can make a documentary style video using pictures. Like where you put on a picture, and you can have it slowly zoom into one part of it, like they do on e! true hollywood stories and such...thanks

I use Pinnacle Studio, I'd perfer Adobe Premiere, but it's a lot more expensive. Windows Movie Maker might have the feature you want. It's called "Pan and Zoom".

It's called the Ken Burns Effect. iMovie has had this feature since v3.

darkscout, dont you need an apple computer to do that with imovie? if i had an apple i would love that, as final cut pro is by far the best editing program...and my computer doesnt handle premeire that well...

Yes. iMovie is a beast on its own. FCP is over kill. To the where I don't like using it because it has TOO many features. Final Cut Express rocks for a middleman.
You never said in your original post what OS you were on.
And you could always get a freeone...

Adobe Premire 6.4 + After Affects 4.5 = Video Editing Goodness.
I love em. If you are able to get them, go for it. I won't settle for less now.

I use Pinnacle for my editting. For the life of my I cant figure out how to work Adobe Premiere, maybe i'm just stupid.
