I always hold in my sneezes. It's just what I do. I hadn't really sneezed for over a year.
And I always had trouble breathing through my nose. I always thought it was a cold during the winter and allergies during summer. I was almost ready to have surgery on my nasal cavities.
Just a minute ago I had a violent sneeze. About as violent as getting punched in the face, in fact. Thank god I was in my bed with a pillow or I'd have possibly convulsed into the corner of furniture and killed myself or something.
Anyway, my sinuses are completely, perfectly clear. This is amazing.

Yeah I know what you mean, I held in sneezes for like a month after I got surgery because it hurt. But it really fucks with you not to let it out

i heard that if you kept your eyes open when you sneeze that your eyes would pop out shock ......wonder if thats true....someone try it and let me know lol ....

It's impossible to do anyway... it's a reflex mechanism.

Actually, I just read on the back of a cereal box today that it actually is possible for some people to sneeze with their eyes open.
And you're eyes won't pop out.
And.... People say that if you stop your sneezes on the way out, it's bad for you. That's true, it is.
If I ever want to hold back a sneeze I just don't let myself inhale to fill my lungs to let the sneeze out. That's not bad for you, but it keeps in whatever your body was trying to get out.

yea...i forgot where i heard that at....but i never believed that would actually happen....i tried once just for laughs and its way too hard to do....by the way though ilanbg...that is kind of cool, you sneeze and now everything in your nose is better shock ....awesome luck....

it is possible for your eyes to pop out. if you hold your mouth, nose, and ears shut and your eyes open when you sneeze, your eyes will pop out of their socket. i dont mean hanging by the cords. your eyes have no nerves anyway. it could be hanging off the side of your head and you would not feel it but that is beside the point.
