Where can I get a good deal on shipping boxes. I'm looking for a variety of sizes to ship iPods, shoes, backpacks, etc.

(I'm using UPS to ship, so USPS boxes don't help)

Edit Forget all of that.

Uline.com is the industry standard, and it is what we use at the eBay store I work at. Most regular sizes (12x12x12, 10x10x10 etc.) are less than a dollar. They are competitive with their pricing.

[quote70c7c12bb3="egg242"]USPS has free boxes for Priority Mail, it's 2-3 days anywhere in the US and pretty good rates. Sign up for an account with them (free) and you can see what sizes they offer.

Edit Beat me by a minute, but they have more sizes on the regular site and you can order larger quantitys too.[/quote70c7c12bb3]

he's shipping VIA UPS.. not USPS.. therfore it woulnd't help him.

Actually you can use the USPS boxes inside out if you don't mind being a little ghetto...

FWIW, though I've never heard of anyone getting arrested, using the boxes for something other than USPS is a Federal crime.

Not run by eBay, we just work on it. If a person wants to sell something we do all the work, research, pictures, listing, shipping etc. and then send them a check in the mail minus a percentage. Currently our comission is 33% and eBay takes 5-7% in transaction fees, so the customer gets right about 60%. Very convienient and liked by those that can afford the cut. www.i-soldit.com , I am at iSold It VA #0100.

The USPS recently started watermarking everything, including the insides of their free boxes.

If you are gonna use them, even turned inside-out (no point), then you gotta wrap them.

they are free you just need a reference number when you go to order them.

For the free UPS boxes, I think you have to pay a flat rate. And I'm not sure if you can use the express boxes for all types of shipping.

not sure i havent ordered boxes from there

if the boxes are free it might be enough savings for the cost of the box that the flat rate shipping will cancel itself out.

I canabalize other boxes. Go to BJs and just take the boxes they have there. If I'm sending out A LOT, then I do goto ULINE and pick up a ton of matching boxes.
