I don't know but I do know I won't be getting it when it comes out right away. I just submitted for approval on the PS3 site with Freepay two days ago.
I think it comes out in the fall for the US and Spring for Japan. That's what I heard.

Yea...If you got the option that'd prolly be the best bet....If you need some moeny any time soon that is....I was follow'n the whole ordeal of release date a while ago and all i can say is that the whole scene was suspecting March as the month but thats looked at as a little far fetched due to no release date this close to march?? Unlikely!!

they just said march back then to maybe convince people to wait untill the next year to buy a PS3 instead of getting a 360.
they knew it would be fall 06 all along.
there's no way any system will ever release before E3

It doesn't look like the PS3 is on schedule from reports I'm hearing. Spring was a dream. I'd hope to have playable consoles by E3, so I can play one. Probably more like a Summer or Fall but don't be surprised if they try to own Christmas like the 360 did...
