Looks like Brokeback Mountain is up for 8 and will probably take home quite a few.
I don't think i've seen one movie that is nominated this year either. I suppose i'll wait untill video to check em all out.

crash was probably best out of all those movies, they always seem to pick strange movies for awards, sometimes ive never even heard of the movies on the list.

Capote sounds good its about Truman Capote the author of In Cold Blood. I've read the book but I know nothing about Truman Capote.
Good Night and Good Luck is about Joseph Mccarhy, and his communist which hunt back in the 60's, I believe.
Brokeback Mouttain is based upon the novel by the guy wto wrote Lonesome Dove, maybe that will make people who liked that go see Brokeback, and people who liked brokeback go see lonesome dove.
somehow I guess few of either will see both. I plan to once it comes on dvd though.

Crash is the only movie out of the Best Picture nominees that I've seen and I hope it wins...it was really good. A History of Violence was also pretty good. But of course, they'll pick whatever movie had the most media. So I bet Brokeback Mountain will win best pict.
