I recently downloaded the 1st season of MST3K and want to burn them to DVD what is the best file format to use? I dont mind if it takes a whole disk per episode as long as the quality is good. They are all .AVIurl==http://=http:///url right now and about 700 MB. Im new to this, thanks for any help!

.VOB files would be the best I think, as those are the files that typically burn to dvds and are recognized by dvd players.

Well, you only have one choice (mpeg2) for file format when burning to DVD. For a beginner's and advanced guide for this process, go to www.doom9.net[]www.doom9.net, click on [b2ec8cf8087]Guides[/b2ec8cf8087] -> [b2ec8cf8087]Format conversion[/b2ec8cf8087]. Under AVI -> DVD±R, there are two guides. The top one is more advanced while the second is a little easier. This is the only way that I know of to convert AVI (xvid I'm assuming?) to DVD-compatible files.

DivXtoDVD is the easiest avi-to-DVD converter around.

It depends on how much money you want to spend....
