I got my 30 gig Ipod Video today and I'm wondering if it's worth taking it to the Apple store and upgrading it to the 60 Gig for a $100 or just keeping it. Any suggestions?

i would've upgraded it just for the battery life boost but it really depends on if you can really use the extra 30 gigs.

Or the extra 1.5 inches on the back...

I would upgrade for the battery life and memory

Personally I think the 60's are alittle thick and bulky but that may just be me.

I was thinking about going for the 60GB also, but my friend talked me out of it. It's not like you're gonna be watching movies all day on this thing. Even though you can use it for portable storage, it's probably easier to just upload it to a server. 30GB is enough for my needs anyways...

I love my 30, good amount of storage and its really really thin. The 60 is just so bulky.

shock an extra 1.5 inches...no wonder it's so bulky! shock

i think you're thinking of an extra 1.5 [idd85b54b78]MILIMETERS[/idd85b54b78]...and they're still thinner than the 4th Gen iPods...so i don't think it'll matter that much

i'd only get in for the battery....esp for when watching videos

I love my 60 gb, its not that much bigger its the same size as the old 20 gigs, in fact a little smaller

battery is better, which is a must if you are going to watch movies on it. Also you can have an extra 30 gb for all the video files you want

if you dont mind a thick ipod and have a little extra csh go for it!!

Yeah. I prefer a smaller iPod and I don't have 30 gigs of anything. If I had more music and $100 extra, I would go for the 60.

My 60GB Video iPod is coming from Freepay after they approve my account. D

I'm gonna have to sell it and use the cash to justify the purchase of my snowboard.
