I submitted an article, and Admin is giving me 24 hours of front page link time. Had anyone else had this? How much did it help?

i had a forum ad when we had those and i got 1 green and quite a few yellows

I've heard of people getting a green or two, which isn't bad, because you'd pay about $20-$25 for a green anyway (but you got yours for free, so even better for you).
