PS i know about video.google.com already, but thats a different story..

I think he wants to know if there are any sites that have free downloads of movies already encoded for the iPod Video. I don't know of any but I haven't really looked.

In the torrent group I'm in, some people encode stuff for the iPod so all you got to do is d/l. Check mininova.net...
I've seen torrent files of videos already encoded...

im on a mac and have 2 questions
1 how do i convert ogm files to ipod friendly ones? they work in mplayer if that helps anyone.
2 where can i download music videos at a reasonable quality, I have no problem with re-encoding them myself so long as they are converter friendly

I was in a rush, my fingers were cold. Anywho, yea i was looking for torrents or whatever video files that are already encoded so i don't have to do it myself. The problem was whenever i encoded some video files of mine, like live music videos of bands, the sound would be off sync with the video.

uhhhhh you can download any video from google video, when you're watching it you see the button that says download? yeah that's the ticket! The secret is........you use the pulldown menu an select the "Video iPod" option. Then you will have whatever video in the correct resolution for your little pod.

i dont' think its all for the ipod videos, on piratebay, i have to read through carefully not to download iriver video clips etc. i'm just looking for the office season 2 for ipod video (
