Anyone ever checked these out? They look pretty cool. If you have a citibank credit card, you can get a 'virtual account number'
It seems that it would be great for some of the shadier offers. You can set a spending limit per number. So I go and sign up at that poker one that people complain about. I put a spending limit of $1.01 on the site. If it tries to charge me >$1.01, it'll get declined. I can even 'delete' the card number and it's like it never existed.
Has anyone ever tried this out? It seems that i'd help guard against the invisible fine print some sites have.

Assuming you have good enough credit, you can get one... it's just a credit card, just like any other. I love Citi and use these virtual numbers all the time.
