I was eating yogurt today and glanced at the container and it said "Live and Active Cultures"..

Does this mean I am actually eating something that is alive? How many cultures am i eating alive everytime i eat yogurt? Am i going to hell for eating them alive?

Then that means vegetarians, aren't really vegetarians at all... hmm horse

It is bacteria.. But the good kind.. Not the kind you find in 7-11 hot dogs.

We generally don't eat yogurt. It tends to have gelatin in it. Remember gelatine could be made of anything from cow hide to your Grandma's old bones..

Do vegetarians drink milk?

I'll clarify the differences between a vegetarian and vegan if you become one. ^_^

Vegetarian veg·e·tar·i·an (vj-tār-n)

1. One who practices vegetarianism.
2. A herbivore.
3. A pussy.

Vegan veg·an (vgn, vjn)

1. A vegetarian who eats plant products only, especially one who uses no products derived from animals, as fur or leather.

2. Even more of a pussy.

No real vegetarian would touch leather and we don't appreciate being called names either.. I don't see why it makes you a man to go to the store pig out on pre-killed meat everyday.

You vegetarians need to learn how to take a joke

But you are wrong.. I don't like to go to the store to pig out on pre-killed meat everyday.. That why I'm moving up to Alaska... To kill my own damn meat.

These terms are being so broadly used these days that I'm not surprised that people are unsure what they maen. )

Last I heard

Vegetarian

Someone who doesn't eat anything that involves killing of any animals, but can eat animal produced products like milk or eggs, because the act of procurement doesn't involve killing the animal.

Vegan

Someone who won't eat meat or animal produced products whatsoever.

Nowadays people who eat fish are trying to call themselves vegetarians. D
