Cardavenue no longer charges sellers, buyers or traders any fees to list, sell, buy or trade gift cards. Cardavenue is now a free service for buyers, sellers and traders to use.
All buyers, sellers and traders are required to have a PayPal account. It is free to transfer funds between buyers, sellers and traders with individual Paypal accounts.
Sellers and Traders are responsible for mailing costs (minimum $.37 each card) and insurance, if desired.

has a directory of over 750 retailers and restaurants nationwide where buyers can search for available gift cards and sellers can list their unwanted gift cards. Sellers are required to keep a credit card on file with Certificateswap for protection of site users.
CertificateSwap collects the money from the buyer and charges the seller a 7.5% processing fee based on the certificate's sale price (not its face-value), plus 75 cents for shipping/handling reimbursement.
Once the money is collected it is placed in the seller's account where the seller can either purchase a gift card from any available or request payment, either by check or via PayPal, after the balance exceeds at least $25. There is a $2.00 processing fee for requesting a check or payment via PayPal.
Buyers save on average 10% off face value of gift cards but there are a few cards with bigger discounts.
CertificateSwap also offers giftbux which can be given as a gift and the recipient can go to the site to trade the giftbux for a gift card from any retailer of their choice.
