1. http//www.soft32.com/download-DeadAIM-1133-5.html
2. Ctrl+Alt+Delete and end a task that doesnt look like it belongs there, and Run MSCONFIG and go to the startup tab and get rid of it there too, or do an ad-aware scan

I'd reboot if safe mode and use ad-ware or spyware search and destroy and run a full scan...

Is it even detecting something? Check your add/remove programs and see if there is a toolbar program in there...

Is it built in to the taskbar? If it is you can right click on the taskbar and go to toolbars and uncheck the one you don't want.

shotgun to the hard drive, that'll guarentee you'll never see it again, but
1 Add/Remove programs
2 Try Spybot search and destroy
3 what does it look like / is there a name for it?

nope its not built into the task bar and I have no clue the name(or I would have been able to get rid of it by now) and spybot isn't registering it
