Fuck you 1-800 patches

Apparently 1-800 patched gives away their free trial member's phone numbers to their affiliates since I receive 2 calls during class and the third one when I was available and I let them have it since I was pissed. Some Radisson Hotel or something wanted offer me a vacation to florida for some scam or whatnot. Screw you.

How did you know it was 1800 patches? I did some of their trials months ago but never got calls like that.

I was in a location where I don't get great reception and so I missed it and then I called the number and asked who it was and they said they got it from when I ordered a product from 1-800 patchs.

And yes, I was dumb to give them my cell #.

It had to be from a while ago because I stopped giving out my cell number and started using my dorm one since I got to campus.

I couldn't use my home one because my parents would get pissed if people started calling.

I just thought it was funny that several hours ago you actually mentioned the fact that you hate giving out your cell #, then a few hours later you're getting random calls on your cell.

I don't answer my cell phone number unless I recognize the phone number.

On the other hand, if I accidently answer, they don't know it's a cell phone and I can pretend "Ilan" isn't home right now.

Anyways, it's pronounced a few ways, none of which I consider wrong or correct. EE-Lon (as in Key-Lawn, rhymes with John) or Eh-LON (pronounced with stress on second syllable).

I'm not sure which one is right, actually. I usually mumble my name and let whoever's listening figure it out for themselves. I've had people argue over which of those two ways is right a bunch of times. roll

i got a couple of calls too... 818-575-2195... called back and left a message with an answering machine with my name, address, and number and haven't gotten a call since then (yesterday)
