Im not sure if you are aware of this... But it is illegal to kill an animal and leave the meat, you have to take everything out. And very few people break that law.

i know a friend whos grandfather had to shoot a bear over 6 times before it was dead

that was with a rifle not a 9 mm

so yeah big animals like that arent so easy to kill
