don't get a plasma, screen burn is aweful, unless you get the new Samsung burnless plasma. If you want something really big like 60+ I'd go with the Sony 3LCD DLP.

Burn-in isn't much of an issue with the current generation of plasmas, especially if you break the display in. From your other post, I gathered that you're looking for 20" to 27" screens. LCDs are really your only option at that screen size....

Samsung 42" DLP HDTV (MSRP $1,999.99)

I own one and I love it.. Plus I'm getting my neighbor's On Demand signals off the TV.. sometimes you can get porno at 10 in the morning!

Though I don't really care to know which neighbor is ordering that P

I have a 42" Sony Plasma and you can't play games at all with Radar, life bars, stuff like that or there is big screen burn. The only time screen burn is not a problem is if you're only playing it for like 20 minutes which I'm sure you wont be, I sure don't. My plasma is only 5 months old. The only plasma that I know of that does not get screen burn is the new Samsung that just came out. You can leave it on for hours and it wont burn.

Do you have burn-in yourself? Cause most people exagerate burn-in greatly. If it is properly broken it, and contrast and brightness are turned down, burn-in is rare. Even playing video game. I have a 42" Hitachi plasma and i play video games on it. Yo should try to keep it under 15-20% of yuor viewing time though.

Jan, for that size, and if you plan on playing a lot of games, i would go with an LCD, or the cheaper CRT. You can get HD CRT tv's pretty cheap now.
