I'm watching Conan. And he had Will Arnett on (GOB of Arrested Development). He was hilarious, as usual. They talked a little about the show, and Conan talked about how it's at risk of being cancelled. And then at the end of the segment Conan said "Arrested Development [b72ed2bfe7a]season[/b72ed2bfe7a] finale airs February 10th". He didn't say series finale. Isn't it officially cancelled? Or is there some hope??! Maybe I'm reading too into this.

It sounded like there was some hope. Conan talked about how the show was going to get cancelled, then it was coming back, and then again there's a risk it might not come back. He might've been talking about what's happened since season 1, not sure.
I read that ABC and showtime have expressed interest. I wonder why NBC doesn't try to get it for their Thursday lineup, I guess it's too expensive. Of course Fox is going to show the 2 hr finale at the same time as the opening ceremony of the winter olympics... roll

I have a friend that works for a big celebrity and she says ABC is the front runner but the major hurdle of this show is the cost. Not only is it not shot on a set which is really expensive, they shoot on a lot of different locations. Its got a large cast and the station that buy the show have to buy the syndication rights which is very expensive. I hope FOX pulls there heads out of their asses and realizes there is a big fanbase even though the ratings don't show it. And I feel like the fanbase is a higher class and why isn't there a market for that?
