What are these new avatars I've been seeing?
They look like they are customized pictures of people as cartoon characters.
Where do they come from?

Things are only cool when I do them, but then everyone has to follow suit and it ruins it.

I'm not planning on changing mine either...i just wanted to mess around with the site (if it is a website) and see what i could come up with. They are kinda faddish, but i'm not knocking anyone who has one. Customization...the new opiate of the masses! shock
