Shalt i purchase a Razr?? *Poll*

So...Bought a cheapy nokia off ebay and all is well except the ring will no longer work....A new GSM razr off of ebay goes for about $240.00.... What do you think....Im to incompatant to spell the formentioned word, OR, decide if i want this phone or not so this poll shall decide...

that phone was always way too pricey for my liking.....but if ya have an extra $240 to blow.....hell why not, prob. get a damn good phone.....then again i dont know a single person who can blow that much money......

Why don't you just get a free one by signing up with a new cell provider?

$240 for a phone that lacks a PDA is just too much for my tastes. Sure, it's stylish, but it's the equivalent of a Louis Vuitton handbag; a huge price premium for no performance enhancement whatsoever. If the status a RAZR implies means a lot to you, see whether you can find a gadget for a similar price that packs a little function with its form.

You can get it free just about anywhere with a 2 year contract...up to you if the 2 year leash is worth $240

I have a Samsung P207, and I'd say its much cooler than a Razr...AND its feature rich. At least all the doucheboxes spending their parents money don't all have the P207...cuz they already went and got the RAZR ;)

BTW P207 is newer than the RAZR, and I've had so many "thats a hot phone" comments its ridiculous. I believe its Cingular only, though, and most stores don't even have it - you'd likely have to special order it.

well i have a razr and i only have one complaint...battery life sucks...other than that its great

my razr gets pretty good battery life. the main reason i bought it was for size and bluetooth. my nokia 3650 was just too big and it got horrible reception. i get great reception with the razr and isnt that what a phone is for? i dont care about video and pictures so that wasnt that important to me (even though it takes good pictures).

i only get like 2 days before it gets into the red and i have to charge it...but the reception is a lot better then my old sony erikson t610

from my experience a phone is a phone. It's cool for about a week but then you are just talking on it and they all do that about the same.

Wy waste $240 on a razor to have it be out of style in 3 months when the new hot phone comes out that all your friends get.

Haha...My g/f'r is quite happy we got 11 no's and only 5 yes's...She thinks its kinda a waste as well...Indeed i did mean "shall"...I thought the battery life was supposed to be immaculate...Anyway! I guess the only razr that appeals to me is the new Itunes one with removable memory but thats about $550-600 so Effff that shaz....Thanx all!! Nokia 6010 it is.....

don't get a razr, get a smartphone or a p207 or something
i have a p207 and its a nice phone for dumb people
i also have an audiovox smt5600 smartphone and it rocks because it is SOO versatile.

ya but isn't that contract like wicked expensive. my brother looked into that cuz he wanted a phone and saw that that one was free with a contract..but the monthly billing for the "service" more than makes up for whatever money they're losing on not having you pay for the phone itself. plus the whole locked into it for 2 years...

let's just say i wouldn't get it. that other phone...the p207.... looks good....a much better deal...i might get one if i find i need a phone in the future...like college?
