Are you on the Facebook?

Just wondering who is. Thousands of people are at my college. If you didn't know it is kinda like myspace but for college students only. Way better than myspace in my opinion. I'm just running this to see how popular it is elsewhere in the country.

I'd say a HUGE advantage of facebook is that you KNOW people are who they say they are....as opposed to myspace where every good-looking girl is some 40 year old fat man.

Yes you can be addicted to facebook. I was for like the first three months that I got it because I was meeting so many people that I was going to see on campus. Myspace is just gay.

I occasionally use it but people who use it too much piss me off. I was in a common lab this past semester and needed one of the PC's to work on an assignment (only lab with the software i needed) and there were about 4 assholes just jerking around on facebook laughing at each others boring ass remarks. I asked if I could use one of their machines for a school project and they looked at me like I violated their mothers.

YES! I'm glad I'm not the only one. I even have to deal with these idiots in my majors only, key card required computer lab. This type of shit was cool in middle school, but I can't believe it's become such a fad for college kids.

That's probably why they blocked it at my school lol It's basically a myspace "for the big kids"

I wasn't dead. ;P I was out of the state.

I don't have Facebook, people at my school are on it, but I think it's kind of lame.

I think the whole point of it is to keep in touch with high school people once you go off to seperate colleges. I can see how the high school version would be as lame as myspace. It's a useful tool when you get a bit older.

I love Facebook. I check it a couple of times a day. I guess one of things I like about it is the ability to keep in touch with old friends and such. I found one of my elementary school friends who moved away to another state like 10 years ago.

I love facebook too. It's a great way to keep in touch with everybody since I graduated high school, plus the new friends I meet. I always send out mass messages to my friends at school whenever we're having a kegger at my place so that's a lot easier than calling everybody. Plus most people put their phone #'s / aim names on there in case you don't know or you forget.

I was addicted but not as much anymore, I still check it every day for people who update their profiles and pics

I like the new photo album feature. I check out random girls' pics, lol. Well...the hot girls only. P

there's highschool facebook too, exact samething, just check out www.facebook.com and read the highschool part

when did they buy facebook.com you used to have to type in thefacebook.com to get to it.

the bought just facebook.com like 2 months ago, also added the high school option then

i dont really know anybody on the hs facebook, and its kinda stupid you cant be friends with high schoolers if you are in college anyway
