Now that xbox 360 has been out for a while, what do you guys think is the BEST game that is already released so far? I need to buy a game for my friend for his b-day. He has NO games as of now, not sure why... lol. Probably waiting for me to get him one O_o

Both of those are good, and Madden 2006.

Stay away from Quake 4.

I love Perfect Dark Zero because Rare made it, and they've been geniuses in my eyes ever since I first played Solar Jetman on the NES.

I read some reviews and they rate PDZ as one of the best multiplayer games and CD2 as one of the best single player games.

I like DOA4, that is hands-down one of the best games. It really all depends on what your friend likes. Most of the games are great. Kameo is really fun if he likes puzzle games. You'll have to see what he likes first though.

PDZ = Perfect Dark Zero
CoD2 = Call of Duty 2

My take on the whole thing is this

If you're looking for a great Live experience where you can play with up to 30 people online in huge maps then get PDZ. PDZ single player is average at best - Live kicks so much ass.

CoD2 has a great single player experience but only 8 people online and its really laggy from what I hear.

I enjoy the COD2 online gameplay. Haven't gotten to play pdz yet because the person at half.com is scamming me, heh.

i heard Madden sucks for it... i dont knwo how true it is, but i guess Training Camp and Challenge play were both taken out. Thats just what I heard, please someone confirm or deny this so i know what for sure.

Yeah, challenge play was taken out, I don't know about training camp because I haven't tried to do that yet.

Challenge play sucked anyway, it hardly ever got overturned.

I would recommend both actually. COD2 single player is much better than PDZ, but the multiplayer on PDZ is better than COD2.

COD2's multiplayer isn't terrible, it's entertaining, but PDZ's multiplayer is better. The cool thing in COD2 multiplayer is you can see how you got killed (it shows it from the person that killed you's perspective and has a big YOU above your guy) so I guess you could improve that way.

Dead or Alive 4 looked ok but looks exactly the same as DOA 3 and the fighting system sucks. Gets extremely repeptative.

STICK WITH SOUL CALIBER 2 for xbox.!!

CD2 is creat in all but its short... well ive only played the xbox version it didnt last long call of duty one is better i think, but is it different on the 360?

I really like the multiplayer on PDZ. The single player is good, but not great. I play Tiger Woods alot. I also have Project Gotham 3 and that looks really great. It has a lot of stuff to keep you playing, which a lot of racing games don't have.

So far I have the following, and will rate them to my preference.

1.) Tiger Woods 2K6. This is pretty much all that I play. I like playing online, but with all sports games you will meet a lot of people that quit when they are losing.

2.) Condemed. Very fun, and will freak you out from time to time.

3.) PGR3. I have not played it much, and it is hard for me to get use to. I played the NFSMW demo and I liked it better than PGR3.

4.) Madden 2K6. It's ok, but very easy against the computer. I have not played online.

5.) Kameo. All I can say about this game is where is the dress that I should have got when I bought the game?

CGABrutus. I don't play during the week that much, at least not online, but if you see me on during the weekend, invite me. I like to play 9 holes at a time if possible.
