alright these are the two greatest shows in my opinon on TV. Its hard to chose which is the best, simpsons are older but the new family guy is so funny. So which do u like, im more now for family guy i have seasons 1-4, -)

Simpsons is the best. Without the Simpsons there would be no Family Guy. And Futurama is not better than the Simpsons. How can you even say that...

I will always love the Simpsons as a whole more because it was a part of my childhood, but Family Guy is funnier...

Yeah Simpsons 3-8 is way better than anything Family Guy has ever done. Current episodes of Simpsons VS current episodes of Family Guy is up for debate, but otherwise it's no contest, simpsons win. And i'll never understand anyone who says Futurama is a great show, letalone better than the Simpsons.

I agree the simpsons were best 3-8 or 9 but Family Guy is getting very stagnant. These new episodes have a lot of the same jokes over and over. I'd really like some new content...

Yeah i agree with you there, I haven't liked the new Fox Family Guy episodes as much as the older ones.

The first 2 seasons of the simpsons are boring in this day in age... which episodes did you think were funny.

I like them both, but I like shows that cross the line and Family Guy does it for me.

Futurama was great except for that shitty Leela character... every other character was hillarious but the writing for her was horrible. Zoidberg is my fav.

I never cared for family guy much and was always a simpsons fan. I have loads of simpsons memorabilia including a simpsons trading card signed by Matt Groening. I do agree however that the simpsons have really let me down lately but the older ones are hilarious. As for futurama, it great too. Bender is hilarious.

South Park is my favorite just because they rip on so many people that deserve it. Family Guy i believe is the funniest because of the complete randomness of each episode. And plus its alot more dirty than Simpsons ever was, Simpsons can take credit for spawning Family Guy and South Park, but i think it's always been geared at the Whole Family Enjoyment. South Park and Family Guy dont really care about that. My two cents...

Look at the characters

except for stewie there is nothing original in there. The random crazy shit started showing up in the simpsons around season 3. Unfortunatly it stopped being funny a while ago. I dont even watch new eps anymore

but id much rather watch old simpsons than any family guy, and im still holding out for a simpsons return to glory.
