Verizon Wireless RAZR V3c

Does anyone here own the phone? I talked to the Verizon guy at Circuit City who actually said he wouldn't reccomend buying it, because the battery life is low and the buttons lag. I was really surprised that a worker for Verizon would reccomend not getting the phone..

I checked online, and they are making a big deal out of it, wanting people to buy it..

I checked CNet and it has a 7.9/10.. does anyone here have an opinion on the phone?

isn't this the one that has vCast?

It has VCast, but it's apparently different.

They installed Verizon OS on it, for one, and it slows down the phone, and makes it so you can't get the red "VERIZON WIRELESS" off the top of the screen or something, plus you can't have ring AND vibrate at the same time, plus the battery life is short.

My friend got it for Christmas, it's cool, like a normal Razr.

It's a metal-gray color, looks really nice.

if there are problems with it, i'd wait until they fixed those problems before getting one.

My friend hasn't had any problems with his, and he got a Bluetooth headset to go with it, which is fucking tight.

Everyone has a Razr nowadays. I wouldn't pay retail ($349.99 according to Verizon) for this phone. I also heard it had battery life problems and bluetooth is somewhat crippled (done by Verizon), but I have no personal experience.
