Honda Civic 2006

Is it just me or did their '06 models look a lot like a Saturn Ion?

Either way, I think the new design on the civics and accords suck compared to the 05 models.

yep its car of the year all around

I'm not doubting the quality of the car, I think the design went down from last year. I like Hondas and my family has an 05 Accord and I think the design of it is a ton better than this years.

And the point of the thread was the similarity in design D

Japanese cars are so much better than American.

i like the new accords but the new civics don't do anything for me.

umm...besides the four wheels...no.
I expect the new civic to sell quite a bit, marketing from the fact that yes japanese cars are better, but they're [b4f66820448]designed[/b4f66820448] for americans. i think that's why they've sold so well in the past.

btw, isn't the hybrid supposed to get like 50 mpg?? i doubt it will be that much in actual driving, but it does trump the prius o

I like the new civic much more than the old one, and it looks nothing like the ugly ion.

Ions can eat my ass, I'm not a honda fan, but I like the SI alot more than the old one, and overall, I think the update was an improvement (unlike the Jetta/GTI revamp). Either way, I can beat em all.

oh, i thought it was WTF but he misspelled it. hehe oops

i still don't see how they look alike. the civic has a much flater look to it, while the ion has pronounced wheel well flares and dosn't have the straight edge look the civic has. the only similarities i can see are the open area directly below the hood, but a lot of cars have this and i don't see how that would make them look alike.

i may be horse , but i'm not really seeing what your talking about.
