video on nano, and iDoom

I don't know if you guys have seen these sites yet, but its pretty interesting. People have made a OS hack for the ipod called podZilla. I'm sure a lot of you know about this already, but it's an alternative GUI and shell, and also you can run apps on it, as well as games, and uncompressed avi.

so i havent tried any of this yet because i dont own an ipod, but if someone wants to do this it would be interesting to hear results. also it probably voids your warranty, so if there is some way to make a backup of your original iPos OS, so that if you have to reformat you can get it back to factory ( i think XPlay does this, but im not sure), that would be really cool.

Has anyone ever used an iPod running linux?

I have iDoom, ipodlinux, floydzilla, and a bunch of games like snake, blackjack, chopper on my ipod nano. The video player doesn't seem to work and the gameboy emulator is not compatible with my nano.
