Decent, but not amazing. Anyway, I am talking about the video battery life. I love the iPod, but the 2 Hrs. Of video might drive me crazy.

how about scratching it! i'd hate to scratch the screen. Especially when you're watching a video, its a real eyesore, whats a good case?

anyways, the vid life sux, especially if you change videos alot... but i left my invisible cover on the front from when i got it and when i sell it i'll be able to sell it w/ out scratches... bow woot

I bought the insible shield becaus eof recomendations here, and I had an extra $18 burning a hole in my paypal pocket (you cna pay with paypal) its pretty much just a clear sticker cut to fit the cover of your ipod, but be careful putting it on so that you align it just right, caus eyou cant take it off and reposition it, or you swont be able to put it back on again. but overall I like it, its nothing fancy but it does the job and you cant tell its there.

I have the 60GB and i havent noticed that great of battery life. Especially while watching videos. Might get up to two hours, i noticed when you start more videos and make it do more work, it really kills the battery also

60 gigs are only supposed to get 3 hours of video playback on a full charge, 30 gigs 2 hours.

yeah, i should get mine sometime in the near future. But my friend let me use theirs on a trip i went on, its great i love it, the screan is beautiful, but the video bat, sucks but if you have a car charger and keep it pugged in then nothin but movies and music the whole way. Also if you just got your ipod and havent gotten a case for it, this is what you should do, i did this with my gf's nano, take the plastic cover off the screaan, then take off the case that says dont steal music, then cut holes where the jacks go and those words wash off, do that and slip it back on, it will protect until you have your case/protective device. yep i cant wait for mine, just get a car charger and a travel wall charger and your good to go.

Also if your like me and are getting the black ipod, personaly i dont like the white headphones with the black it just looks funny, well im buying black headphones to match off ebay, there just like the white ones but black. Just search on ebay for "black headphones ipod" and for about $20 you can get some. Just a thought i like apple's headphones just not white with black, you might have your own, anyways just throwing those thoughts out there

invisible shield sucks with black ipod video. i got one (for free actually because of an error on their part wink) and it looked horrible with the black front. so i only use the back part to protect my ipod. (i got another screen protector for the front. works great)
