Feature Suggestion: More profile diversity

As some of us recently learned when googling our SNs, our FiPG profiles come up as number 1! That got me thinking - is there any possibility we could customize our profiles a little more? They get all the pertinent information across but it might be fun to have a few extra boxes to inform the freebie world of who you really are. Currently there's just one field that allows for any creativity, "interests".
Perhaps just a few extra text boxes where we could put in whatever we want? Or an html field to upload pics of received freebies, etc. Is this a possibility? Would anyone else like this? shrug

Sure I guess there could be more information boxes, but that really depends on how much personal info people want to give away. For me, what I have out now is probably all people are going to get to know, well, with the exception of wolverine13 wink .

Adding a field for a profile picture has been on my mind for quite a while. I will look into it.
Also, what other freeform fields would you like?

Freebie items received, favorite movies, favorite music, websites... that sort of stuff. Blank boxes would work well, too.

I'm working on making the profile look cleaner. Its going to get fucked up as I work on it.
I just raised the limits on the photo to 800x600 75kbytes. If your photo exceeds those limits it wont upload.
Just out of curiousity, wasn't there someone working on a new color scheme for the boards?

the current scheme is
-liquid
-funtional
-readable
-somewhat unique (color-wise)
so if someone can come up with a design that beats that, i'll use it. till then, this is serving our purposes fine if you ask me.

ok, bbcode errors fixed. sorry about that.
basically the mod to allow freeform text on the profile (such as the 'bio' field) doesn't expect the bbcode engine to be loaded for that page. however, i have another mod (user comments) for mods only that loads the bbcode engine. the redeclaration errors occurred because it was trying to load that engine twice.
those of you that changed your sigs in the past 10 minutes need to go into your profile and just click 'submit' which will re-parse the data.
I like finding the little glitches and reporting. Kinda feels like a mini-forum-cop. Or something.
