Well okay my one month trial ended... so now I cant play any of the songs that I bought from Real Rhapsody.. Whats going on? Are my songs not valid anymore? Is there anyway I can burn them on a cd to get rid of the license? I mean I did pay for many of the songs.

You bought the songs? You paid the .99 cents or whatever it costs to buy them? Or did you just download them. If you just used the subscription download service, once your trial/service ends, the songs will be unplayable.

yes, you can download the songs but they only work whenever you are still a member of the trial. it isnt 9.99 for unlimited downloads. its .99 per song.

No. That's wrong. Rhapsody's $9.99/month service will let you "download" an unlimited number of songs. Just because you've downloaded the song, however, doesn't mean you've purchased it. Once you've cancelled Rhapsody, you will not be able to play downloaded songs anymore. Purchased songs, however, should be playable anytime. Purchased songs are what cost you .99 cents a pop or whatever they're going for now (you download purchased songs, but because they're purchased you own the rights to playing the song whenever you wish, within Rhapsody's service or not).

I just saw a commercial that said rapsody is free, no cc, monthly fees, or obligations.
it was like a 3 minute commerical.

Yeah, I've seen that before. But it was for the 30 day trial.
