iPod mini

does anyone know of a site that gives out iPod minis? i know just about everyone is advertising the nanos, but is there a site for the mini? I like the bigger (6gb) storage, and the multi-color choice. If you could help me out that would be awsome.

Or would my best choice be to get some cash and buy one on ebay or something like that?

I thought the mini's were discontinued?

so my only option is to shell out $350?! wtf? i'm really hoping that u put down the wrong number in the hundreds place and it's actually closer to like a 1 or a 2. lol

I read an article about the insane price of ipod minis on ebay. Seems like kids think its cool to go against the crowd by buying the ipod minis... roll

the minis cost a lot because of supply and demand.
supply dried up since apple no longer makes them
demand its still there

So ... until apple makes new "mini" or "nano" sized iPods in the (for the lack of a better word) 'colorful' 'color' iPods, the price will remain higher than the estimated retail price.

This brings up an interesting scheme for Apple
1. Release a new generation of ultra-small iPods each year.
2. Alternate the availible colors between
a) Black and White
b) blue, green, pink, yellow, silver, and/or gold

they are really expensive. wow...didn't think they'd be that bad. I just checked on ebay, there are a bunch going for aroun mid $200 range. that's at least better than $350 i thought i had to pay. how reliable would it be to buy one off ebay? u think i could just do a site that offer's paypal, and then use that to buy one? thanks for the advise!! i might do it...who knows?

edit or i just saw that u can buy a 2nd gen 4gb one for $209. that's not a bad deal, considering they retailed for about that much when they came out....

it also depends if you are getting the 4gb version or the 6gb version too

I got 180 including shipping for a 1.5-2ish year old green 4gig mini, 1st generation (8hr bat)

The minis I have are 6GB 2nd Gen. - 1,500 songs. Some douche actually messaged me on eBay...explaining how stupid I am, because minis only hold 1,000 songs. Apparently not everyone knows there are 4GB and 6GB minis (

for someone who only has like 1000 songs, the mini makes a whole lot more sense then it's bigger brother, the 20-30gb ipod. that's why i'm looking for one. I'll prob keep the ipod i'm gettin from freepay, but i figure a 4 (or a 6, if i can get one wink ) gb mini would be an awsome b-day gift for my sister...who dosn't have that much music anyways.

either way, i actually like the mini's more than the nano. they may be slightly larger, but i don't like the nano's smaller storage, ans sometimes the nano can be toooo small, u know. anyways, that's my opinion
