So pretty much my girlfriend's parents are getting broadband finally, and I'm moving there. So, I want to set up a wireless shiznit so I don't have to run a cord through the floorboards. What do I need as far as the router and cards and give me recommendations with links...
Thank you and good day.
By the by. Money is more important to me then some crazy shit that floats around your house and brings you breakfast in bed. I just need working internet.

Yeah, for a se[/color6e10f4f531]mester to save up money. She lived with me and my pops for the Summer and shit, so I thought I'd be nice and let her stay with her parents for the se[/color6e10f4f531]mester. We're leaving if shit pisses me off. I just want to save up more money before we get an apartment and my friend is being cheap, so I have to wait for him to stop being a bitch and be our roomy.
Edited for the lame ass fucks that have nothing better to do then be spelling nazis.

i think the first thing you need to do to get money is spell semester correctly, in a hope to pass it and eventually get out of college and make money.

Hey fuck face, I'm not an English major, so if you aren't going to help, you can just suck a dick? Nice grammar you have as well. We start sentences with a capital letter here in college.

lol @ e-thug lol
the best wireless setup IMO is the netgear 108mbps router with the netgear 108mbps usb wireless adapters. its a tad tricky to setup but it has GREAT coverage and high speeds.

Yeah, I'm just not sure about the specifics and what's a good price. I know there's different wireless types, like b, g, d etc...
I'm not really sure which I should go with and which is worth the price difference for what I want to do.

Are you gonna have any laptops on this wireless network? Most have 802.11 b/g adapters built in.

Nah, unless I decide to keep the iBook, which I doubt. Hmmm, after rebates with your links, it would cost about $60 for two cards and the router. I guess that's not too shabby.

CNET typically provides good information and they have a whole section of their site devoted to wi-fi. Personally, I would go with a Linksys router and internal wireless PCI cards (I've had bad experiences with USB wireless adapters). Although, if you're strapped for cash, any wireless router will probably do the job for you (maybe not so well though, disconnects are extremely annoying).
Also, you really should know how to spell semester. I'm done here.

As far as the cheapest goes. Day after christmas last year they had the cards for under 10 bucks at a lot of places, if you don't wanna wait check slickdeals.net or fatwallet for the best deal.

It shouldn't matter if you are an English major or not, you should know how to spell "semester" correctly--even as a 5th grader.

I have one of these routers
http//www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16833124010
And 2 of these and they work great.
http//www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16833124115
The router is on the middle floor and the 2 wireless computers are on the floor above and below with a distance of about maybe 20-30 feet away from the router.

Big brothers are always hiring if he needs one, until then, you may also suck a dick. Thanks for posting nothing of help in my thread.
Thanks to those that actually tried offering help instead of pointing out a fucking spelling error on a [i963ef07b2c]free shit[/i963ef07b2c] forum.
