Yeah, you did kill us. We were too drained from killing those falcons, as the announcers put it. Cadillac was amazing today.

Vikings are 8-5 and have won 6 straight under the still-undefeated Brad Johnson...this puts them 1 game out of first place in the NFC North, behind Chicago 9-4. I'm counting on Atlanta to stick another loss on that record next week.

eric crouch was just a heisman winner, he wasnt ever going to be no. 1 pick, leinart made the wrong choice, theres a huge difference in millions in the nfl draft b/w 1st and 2nd pick, what if he doesnt get picked till 3rd or 4th.

The NFL isn't like the NBA where the salaries are already set. The 1st pick and the 3rd or 4th could get payed pretty close to the same ammount. It really depends on position and bonuses. Leinart made the right choice because if/when they beat Texas that team goes down as probably the best college football team of all time. People will compare teams to them for the next 20-30 years. Its like the Colts this year. If they had 1 lose, they'd be resting the starters but you can't give up a chance at a perfect season. Leinart is no guarentee to be a good QB and He's probably happy to end up on a team like the Jets or Raiders rather than the awful '49ers...

Oh, and of course Texans lost. It's okay. Shows we can hang with teams, well crappy teams, and still get the first round draft pick that we now might have to trade down! Depends. Do we risk it and get an amazing running back, Reggie Bush, that may or may not have the body type to play in the NFL? Or do we trade down for some good picks to help build our offensive line and other areas? Decisions decisions...

Reggie Bush goes #1 no matter what. I think the Texans would be better if they traded down a few spots and got some more picks b/c they are weak in a lot of positions. Domanick Davis is a great RB if he had a better O-line & Carr is way better too if he isn't sacked every play. If I were them I'd trade to a spot where they can get a great T or G and take the extra picks to fill in the weak spots...

true they are weak in a ton of places, we have to take reggie bush, he is an unbelievable athlete, does he have the body type?? well thats what they said about LT and look how he changed the chargers, so i would take my gamble on taking reggie bush not tradin down for some lineman or def people, besides the texans suck at that, they traded down last year for babin and he turned out to be a complete dud, along with pussy philip buchanon. i hope they dont f' it up this year.

cyberpunk243

11-12-2005 18:10:47

It's a gamble either way. There is no way to no what will work out for the Texans until it happens. We could get Bush and he would be amazing! Or, he could no nothing considering our current linemen suck and they have to create holes in order for Bush to get through. Or, we could trade the pick down and pick up some decent players which is what we probably ought to do considering we lack in so many places. Capers is gone along with his shit staff so hopefully there will be improvement there. Hopefully whatever the Texans do will help them to become a better team. Although, I think anything is better than what they currently are.

mlwitchking

11-12-2005 19:01:41

if i was the owner of the texans, i would order the head coach to throw the rest of the games just to get reggie bush. there should not be any problem in doing this because the texans are already out of the playoff race and in the #1 pick race (some might add "of futility")

I don't think we have to "throw" any of the games remaining in order to keep losing. Plus, Bush is amazing, no doubt about that. But he has yet to be really tested against a strong defense. Either way, I am sure the Texans will come out with some good stuff, whether we get Bush or trade down for some decent players.

Dolphins DESTROYED the chargers.... well in a close game atlest... why cant they play like that all the time? oh well.. uhhh but my big game this weekend was on Friday, states for my school... two undefeated teams battledit out for the championship, unfortuatenly we lost, but it was a crazy ass game at Dolphin's stadium... the game was the front page of the miami herald which is the biggest paper down here..

Patriots? Its not last year. Their D blows now. They can only beat teams that are under .500. They aren't even in my top 10. If they were in any other division they wouldn't even make the playoffs...
