Go watch a PS3 trailer. You'll see a difference. I'm not too much of a Sony fan... But...

yeah the graphical improvement is quite a lot, especially considering these are the first rounds of games... it will only get better as they utilize the true power
plus, xbox 360 cant be modded yet so there wont be any cheaters on live. if i find a 360 i'll probably pick one up

Well if they're using the Cell Processor chip for their videos that they are presenting, I think it would be fine if they did it because that's exactly what the PS3 will be using.

All those videos were scripted, they used no AI and were only very small parts of a huge game. Therefore since it was using no AI its very easy to script something fast running and great looking without such a load on the GPU/CPU. Therefore even though it was done in real time it can not be compared.

I finally played a 360 for the first time last night at Best Buy. I played a game of Madden '06 and to tell you the truth, I wasn't that impressed. I expected more of an increase as far as realistically.

i bet the ps3 will have problems too, i remember sony putting out a v1.1 upgrade for ps2's after they came out (like a month later?) and psp's going to 1.5 around a month later too. same w/ when xbox came out(don't own xbox) but i know they had a v1.1 something after the first shipment of xboxes.
