I am looking a product mentioned on the news for security for my gf who is going to be traveling overseas in April for school. I cant seem to find it on google no matter how i word it.

I dont want to mention it because it sounds so stupid and I dont feel like having to explain the details and read dumb responses from people who will make a joke out of something my gf really needs.

I just need a volunteer expert Google searcher to help me out. If anyone wants to volunteer to help me, please pm me. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Okay i'm not gonna be a p, i'll just post it. Regardless if someone makes fun of it, i'd probably still get more help if i just f-ing post it, so here goes

I heard on the news a while ago about a type of underwear made from heavy duty leather material that is secured with this mini combination lock (like on a brief case). The news report did not tell the manufacturer or where to get them. All they really said was without the combination they are impossible to get off (probably not impossible, but really difficult). It's like an assalt/rape deterant.

I have tried a million different google searchers to find these. I have no such luck. I have tried things like "locking underwear", "security underwear", "underwear technology", "combination lock underwear", etc. I have even substituted "under garments" and "underpants" for all of my searches. Still nothing.

It is not like a chastity device or anything. It is a security technology. All i seem to find are articles about research on developing a bra that measures heart rate and can wirelessly transmit that info.

I just cant seem to find these freaking things! If you can help that would be great! If you wanna make fun of me or the underwear.... well obviously your 1st amendment permits that, so oh well. Nothing i can do.

is that the kinda of thing?

Dave82

08-12-2005 16:10:12

Haha, no, lol.

They are made of leather i guess and i guess in front the leather has a flap that cant be dis-attached unless you enter in the combination on the lock. The lock looks like the small 3-digit ones on the top of old fashiioned brief cases.

But lol at that link man

Edit and on a side notes, those arent even a good idea bc your kid would just toss them out the car window and go on doing what they want to do.

But still, that was quick, i didnt come across those in my hour long search. We have an expert googler on our hands

08-12-2005 16:14:32

OMG, EatChex found them!

That isnt the exact thing i saw on the new, but man how did you find that so quickly!!!?

Dave82

She is going to Egypt and a few other places for 3 and a half weeks for a research project funded by her school. But you dont wear them 24/7. You just slip them on over your underwear when traveling or going someplace unsafe. One of her faculty advisor was speaking to the group that will be going about safety and one of the parents pointed to my gf and said that see will stand out alot bc she is pale and blonde.

oh actually. i think it was because i put in "anti-rape underwear"

Dave82

08-12-2005 16:19:26

i wasnt implying anything bad about the places she is going. SHe just felt unsafe about certain issues and was considering not going. I remembered seeing these on the news and thought about getting her them. I dont want people to think that i have this bad image of Egypt.

Edit After reading the article on that website, i think it's a joke...

NOT WORK SAFE, DONT SCROLL DOWN

"Patti Shnyder of the Delta Delta Delta sorority said, "My friends totally had to drag my drunk ass out of the bar, and since I'd swallowed my underwear key on a dare, they couldn't take them off so I could pee. Those fucking 20 pound Gook panties ended up being an anti-rape diaper that night. Now my rusty crotch makes loud noises while I pace around waiting to pass the key through my system." '

no, actually i thought you were insecure about the places she went to P

but now that it's straightened out, then it's all good. just make sure she doesn't wear these when she's likely to get dared ;-)

Has anyone actually read the article? The panties may be real (I fail to see how someone wouldn't be able to just PULL them off) but the article is bullshit.

08-12-2005 16:31:40

so wait. is it like the underwear the princess wore in robin hood men in tights but with a combination lock instead of a key?

Kidd

08-12-2005 16:32:43

wouldnt the lock hurt a bit and isnt there like a condom a girl can use that will hurt the penis once it touches it like it will stick on and hurt a shitload

Dave82

08-12-2005 16:37:30

You can pull them off because they fit so snugly. And tehy arent fool proof, it is just a deterant or buys you time and throws off the attacker. The brief case lock seals the two folds of leather together and the lock is on the outside, so it wouldnt touch your skin.

But yea seriously, this device doesnt exist. I think Kidd got it right. I doubt it's that dangerous too. There are going to be 7 other students and 2 faculty members (who have done this trip before). She just expressed some concern so i was trying to help out. Thanks everyone though!

Dont ask me how or why i was watching this. But i was flipping through channels and i saw on the history channel or something a
sharp pointed device that contained a "knock out" agent of some sort that a woman created
So all a girl has to do is place the sharp pointed device in her vagina so if a guy wanted to put his dick in hed get owned.

Kidd

tell her to blend in as much as possible and not look to sexy
