Need your help choosing a laptop!

I'm planning on getting a laptop around $1500 or less
around 80gb, 512 ram, dvd/cd burner, 15" screen, wireless card, Pentium M...
these are the choices...

Honestly, if you want a quality laptop id go with a gateway. They have some really nice ones for around 1300. Id buy it at Best Buy with a 3 year service plan.

i like my compaq a lot ive never had an issue with it at all but im sure others would beg to differ...i think all computers are good except dells unless its the l337 dells i think its more of a matter of the person operating the computer and maintaining it

get a toshiba satellite from best buy. the m45-s169. it has a 1.6ghz processor, 512MB ram, 80g HD, 15" screen and a dvd burner, and an internal wireless card, all for 950.

yah... but i'm looking for a laptop with at least Pentium M... roll
the price isn't a big concern..

I'd like to get myself an HP laptop, but the site you posted wasn't working, so this is what I found on the HP site. A couple of those options it wouldn't let me deslect or disable. When you actually configure it yourself, you get a shitload more options to choose from.

Whatever you do dont buy a laptop with "Intel Extreme Graphics 2"

get one with an independant video card.

Thats effin overpriced, i paid around $700 for mine, almost all the same specs

ya.., i'm planning on either getting a Toshiba or Sony...
what I don't like is that the Sony laptop doesn't come with a wireless card and it's 1.60, compare to the Toshiba 1.73 cpu...

but I like the brand Sony better and it has a longer battery life..

half the time when you buy sony you buy it for the name.

i just bought a few Dell lappies to fleabay. for $780 I got

Dell 6000D

2.0ghz Pentium M
512mb
64mb X300 vid card
8x dvd burner
60gb HD.

Dells are cheap. but good.

im also in the process of looking for a laptop. Anyone know when the dell coupon is coming around? If nothing soon I might go with an HP. I did see some slick looking laptops at best buy the other day for faitly cheap.
