I just got the ti-89 calculator and was wondering if anyone knows any helpful programs/applications for it. I am currently taking Algebra II/Trig and Chemistry. Any games worth playing would be good also.

Does anyone else have one of these?

I have the orginial 89 not the titanium, and since you said you just got it, it's probably the titanium. I didn't have any games on mine, but be careful where you get them from because they've been known to crash the calculator.

fallout is the best game ever.

tetris is always good too.

don't lose your cord that plugs it into your PC. i did, and and then accidentally cleared my RAM, not knowing it would delete all the games.

I have a TI83+, but you can get games from ticalc.org[=http//www.ticalc.org]ticalc.org also. They have all kinds of stuff. And I agree, Fallout is a fun game.

The TI-89 in itself is god. I have to use a borrowed 82-gangster. The 89 does everything you've ever wanted. Your a very lucky man.

Yeah 89's are the bomb, does any calculation you ever need to do up to multivariable calculus, prob more, I haven't explored it all.

i'm a EE major, and its gotten me through all the required maths, including diff. eq and linear algebra. Truly one of TI's finest hours. Though i find it a lot harder to program than the 82-83.
