Yup, just what the subject says.. I'm in trouble... Wedding is in August. Here in Rochester there's this theater called Geve Theater. Every month they do this thing called Comedy Improv. Pretty much who's line is it anyway like on TV. It's actually really funny. Anyway, I was "randomly" picked with the GF and it was set up as the guy was the owner of a fancy restraunt and he said a few things and left, then that was my time. Needless to say everyone in the place was goin nuts and it ended in a standing ovation. Girls I didn't even know were crying. Here's the Improvs blog, they posted a picture of us, it's the 6th picture down, if you click it you can blow it up.

Also, I hope this doesn't mean you'll be spending any less time with us. Don't forget your commitment to FIPG ;).

Congrats, that is a very unique, and FUN way to propose.

I'm fortunate that my parents are paying for the wedding...my fiance and I are paying for the honeymoon (he's putting in more $$ for it than I am, since he makes a buttload more money/year than I make) ourselves. )

Gosh you are lucky... my rents had no $$ to contribute to the wedding (I probably make more money than they do). We were basically on our own.

But congratulations Hairy! That is a [if7d4635d91]very[/if7d4635d91] romantic and unique way to propose! I'd like to suggest the island of Cozumel, Mexico, for honeymooning. It's [if7d4635d91]gorgeous[/if7d4635d91] and extremely non-touristy.

I love my parents so much and am sooo happy they're paying for the wedding...then again, we're all so old-fashioned in many ways that it kind of makes sense. ) Besides, they paid for my brothers' wedding (double wedding, both brothers) plus both brides' dresses.

It wouldn't be "right" if they didn't contribute at least a bit to mine since it's been 8+ years since my brothers got married. )

I've been to Cozumel. Not to ruin the idea of going there, but a lot of crusies stop by there, but no where to the extent of Cancun or anything like that. But really beautiful place nontheless.

Yeah, I'm not sure what I'm doing for the honeymoon and my parents are paying for most of it. Her parents have 10 kids so they don't have much money to pay for anything.
