yesterday someone won my 360 auction and told me 10 minutes later that they didnt want it and that they bought the wrong one. there should be a minimum amount of feedback required to bid depending on the value of the item.

03-12-2005 11:00:32

that's crazy. it was probably planned though just to make it look crazy because you can get one for so much cheaper.

[quote930e94fa23]This is not even a factory made xbox 360 box. me kids made this themselves, they are 5 and 3. It does not contain an Xbox 360 console, just the Xbox 360 home-made box. this box is great hand made by my kids and I, it says XBOX right on it, It doesn't look anything like the picture I included in the auction. It looks a lot better in fact, at least that is what we think.[/quote930e94fa23]

Lol... A homemade box made by a 5 year old and a 3 year old.

That's gotta be one nice looking box! lol

People that sell boxes for shit on eBay need to die. It fucks it up for people that really have things to sell because it just ruins confidence in the system and its so obvious you are trying to catch someone that doesn't read auctions.

As for the $140K 360, it pretty obvious (no matter what the seller says) that its a joke and someone will Buy It Now and he'll have to deal with getting his FVF back but they don't refund the other auction fees.

PayPal fees on $400K = $4060.30
eBay fees on $400K = $2,113.37

The fees are closer to about $30,000, actually.

And he'd only have to pay if someone actually sent the money.

You are wrong, its $2,113.37 FVF on $140K.

[quote9d236fb644="eBay"]5.25% of the initial $25.00 ($1.31), plus 2.75% of the initial $25.00 - $1,000.00 ($26.81), plus 1.50% of the remaining closing value balance ($1,000.01 - closing value)[/quote9d236fb644]

Yeah he'll get the Final Value Fee back if they don't pay but all the other fees aren't refunded.
