Help with Nano

My son has had his Nano for about a month. Yesterday while listening to a song, he said it froze. The song is still on the screen.

Any suggestions as to what to do ?????

When my 4th Generation iPod would freeze, I'd have to hold down the center button and "Menu" for about 10 seconds or so. Then it would restart completely. Or you can wait until the battery drains from it.

If the nano broke, you might be able to get it swapped at the apple store for a brand new one.

as veek said the reset will take care of it.
if it still doesn't work after the reset/battery cycle take it back to the apple store and you should have no trouble getting it replaced
