How do you get your sub sandwich?

Wherever you prefer to go (Subway, Blimpie, Quiznos, etc.) what do you get on your sandwich?
For me its the veggie sandwich, on either white (blimpie) or italian herbs and cheese (subway), provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, a lot of olives, a little bit of onion, and mayo & mustard.

Publix sub, italian, white bread, just lettuce, salt pepper, oil and vineager. And you cannot forget to get it honey butter pressed. If you have a publix around and have not yet had one of their subs, you need to. Publix > subway, quisnos, any other sandwitch place you can think of.

You don't need meat to live at all, so why kill millions of animals? Just for the pleasure or the taste? To be a one of the two thirds of the obese American population? Thought so..
BTW.. Subway sub =
Vegie Delight - whatever bread - lettuce, lots of onions, even more banana pepers, green pepers, a couple hot pepers, peper, and of course lots of red wine vinegar!
I don't kill animals. Others do it for me.
And I'm not obese and never will be. Thanks PETA.
P.S; The comment was out of spite for an attempt of ruining his thread.

Actually unless you are taking a vitiman you need meat. Take a look at your teeth, you are an omnivore...you are meant to eat meat. Just do it it tastes good. Plus if you actually cook your meat you can make it have little to no fat (so you won't be obese)

I can't justify killing animals for my own pleasure. 2/5 of the great world religions (Hinduism and Buddhism) contain strong beliefs of not consuming meat. They are also the oldest religions, not to mention containing the most backed proof (we won't get into that.. Gotta stay on topic)
Oh, and the vitamin stuff is absolute bull. I haven't eaten meat in around 3 years.

I used to work at Subway, here are some things you should know
-DON'T say "white cheese"--all of our cheese is white, the cheese you are speaking of is called American.
-We DO NOT have parmesan oregano (at least where I am).
-Vegetarians suck.

Oh and to the animal issue. If they have a problem with being slaughtered tell them to learn how to make a gun.
Sucks being on the lower end of the food chain.
Also just a note, just because something doesn't have a brain doesn't make it less intelligent or not have a soul. So stop crying about the air hammer crushing the cows head, while some farmer use using a 20 ton thrasher to yank the lettuce from the ground for your veggie sandwich.......

The point in being a vegetarian is this - We're not trying to short cut ourselves - in fact if a vegetarian needed to eat meat to live then they would. We don't though, so that means that eating a cow and killing a cow just to watch it die are EXACTLY the same thing. Most people would not justify the second and that makes excellent sense. Anyways, who's to say that a human is better than our animal counterparts? Why shant we just eat our own species? That'd be fun, thank God it's against the law. Speaking of the law check this. If you kill a chicken you're good, but if you fuck one? Hahah, if you fuck one, you go to jail for a long time. It's a sick world. I'll never wonder why people make fun of vegetarians.. It's like making fun of an anerexic person because their disipline allowed them to starve themselves.

I think we should stop fighting, because internet fighting is for the mentally challenged. The truth is vegetarians live six to ten years longer than meat-eaters, and only 2 percent of vegans are obese, as to meat eaters is about 33 percent. You guys should really do research before trying to prove wrong vegetarians, because we are the ones that did the research and made the decision. Tell me anything, I'll prove you wrong. Until then, lets stay on subject.

six to ten years longer, that can't be determined due to other external factors, if your saying meat makes you obese or even fat your completely wrong. not to mention im sure there is a ton more people who eat meat than vegetarians, that includes all the fatasses who eat mcdonalds everyday so the percentages are skewed. how about you go ask some personal trainers or bodybuilders or nutritionists how they can eat all that meat, and still have a lower fat percentage than your lettuce eaters, dont get me wrong im not bashing vegetarians, but it goes both ways, dont start making harsh accusations you can't back up.

Wow, first off I never said that eating meat makes you fat, im simply saying that almost all vegetarians are healthy. Second, human teeth are NOT made for eating meat. Heres a little chart of proof for you
[quoteb88a83e68c]The prominent Swedish scientist Karl von Linne states, "Man's structure, external and internal, compared with that of the other animals, shows that fruit and succulent vegetables constitute his natural food." The chart below compares the anatomy of man with that of carnivorous and herbivorous animals.
When you look at the comparison between herbivores and humans, we compare much more closely to herbivores than meat eating animals. Humans are clearly not designed to digest and ingest meat.
Meat-eaters have claws
Herbivores no claws
Humans no claws
Meat-eaters have no skin pores and perspire through the tongue
Herbivores perspire through skin pores
Humans perspire through skin pores
Meat-eaters have sharp front teeth for tearing, with no flat molar teeth for grinding
Herbivores no sharp front teeth, but flat rear molars for grinding
Humans no sharp front teeth, but flat rear molars for grinding
Meat-eaters have intestinal tract that is only 3 times their body length so that rapidly decaying meat can pass through quickly
Herbivores have intestinal tract 10-12 times their body length.
Humans have intestinal tract 10-12 times their body length.
Meat-eaters have strong hydrochloric acid in stomach to digest meat
Herbivores have stomach acid that is 20 times weaker than that of a meat-eater
Humans have stomach acid that is 20 times weaker than that of a meat-eater
Meat-eaters salivary glands in mouth not needed to pre-digest grains and fruits.
Herbivores well-developed salivary glands which are necessary to pre-digest grains and fruits
Humans well-developed salivary glands, which are necessary to pre-digest, grains and fruits
Meat-eaters have acid saliva with no enzyme ptyalin to pre-digest grains
Herbivores have alkaline saliva with ptyalin to pre-digest grains
Humans have alkaline saliva with ptyalin to pre-digest grains
Based on a chart by A.D. Andrews, Fit Food for Men, (Chicago American Hygiene Society, 1970)
Clearly if humans were meant to eat meat we wouldn't have so many crucial ingestive/digestive similarities with animals that are herbivores.
Many people ask me, "If we weren't supposed to eat meat than why do we?". It is because we are conditioned to eat meat. Also, the ADA (American Dietetic Association) tells us that "most of mankind for most of human history has lived on a vegetarian or Lacto-ovo vegetarian diet.[/quoteb88a83e68c]

I'd like to point out that both mnx12 and I both are not vegans. For one reason or another we eat dairy products. I'd also like to point out that most dairy (for it's buck anyways) has higher percentage of protein then meat. In fact, I had this fucked phase in my life where I consumed alot of pure protein.. What I mean by pure is 25 grams per 100 calories - that is 100% protein. Mix it with Continent D light soy milk and you got a protein shake with 55 grams of protein and around 5 carbs and one gram of fat.. That's an extreme for the human body, as I continued this process my kidneys would hurt more and more. Yes and I did start wetting the bed. ^_^ See, we can consume more protein then meat eaters any day. There's also no written law that says veggie's gotta be thin either. Hey mnx12, do you eat sugar? Gotta watch those bleaches..
