I am looking at getting a MiniMac. I am probably going to go with the FreePay Mini Mac site, but are there others that you would suggest? Possibly less common sites, but still legit? Less number of refs would be nice too. Getting PayPal and buying one is out of the question because they are going for $400+ on Ebay.

Wait 'til January or so when Apple will unveil the new Mac mini, that will use an intel processor and will have much, much more.

Here's some unofficial speculation
http//macosrumors.com/
[iebd9b54407]Apple will switch the Mac Mini and the iBook to Intel processors in January according to an emerging grapevine consensus -- and Mac OS X 10.4.4, which will soon be undergoing its second developer seeding around build 8G15, has finally brought the PowerPC and Intel codebases into sync so the foundation for the x86 transition should be firmly in place by New Year's.[/iebd9b54407]
From the very little research I've done in the last ten minutes, it would appear that the best reason for a switch is being able to dual boot OS X and a Windows-based OS. Granted, I don't know too much about processors and what the difference is between one and another. Someone want to shed some light on that for us?
[EDIT]
Now here is some much more interesting information
http//www.thinksecret.com/news/0511macmini2.html
[iebd9b54407]The new Mac mini is also said to sport a built-in iPod dock, a feature that was scrapped from the Mac mini Apple first introduced one year ago. Other hardware specifics are unknown, such as whether the Mac mini will feature video recording out of the box or whether an add-on will be offered for those looking to employ the Mac mini not as a second computer but as their living room command center.[/iebd9b54407]
