Doesn't work with the latest AIM for anyone...AOL bought DeadAIM, thus there will be no more updates.
Did you really think AOL thought of everything in the recent updates all on their own?

Triton lags. My typing won't show up for a while sometimes and then it will all popup. People also can't direct connect with me, or I haven't figured it out. I can occasional send files, just had to be worked right. Been using it for at least 2 weeks.

I've been using it for almost 2 months, and I absolutely love it. There is no way to direct connect, but thats not really an issue as the file transfer application is built right into the IM window. For me it hasn't been laggy or anything, just a little buggy when I first started to use it, but it's since been updated a couple times and now runs beautifully.

I hate using trillian for AIM because it uses the client-side buddy list vs the server-side, so if I log in from somewhere else and delete some buddies, they'll still sit in trillian at home. i really really hate that. there's a reason AIM, yahoo, etc use server-side buddy lists.

Agreed, that and sometimes my entire buddy list resets to the server one and all the people I had deleted show up again and the custom names disappear.

Exactly what I was going to say. I'm never upgrading from 5.9.. took me awhile to upgrade from 5.5 but was forced to because I was having problems Direct Connecting and with File Transfers.

if i could get adium to direct connect, i would like it more. i still use it on my mac but thats my only complaint. i havent really looked into the issue though or fowarded any ports. im too lazy.
