Let's see, you'll need to learn web programming, financing, networking (not the ethernet kind), and probably some other things. Ready....Go!

I know web programming, have a degree in finance and know tons of companies and people

I am working on a script right now that uses flash as it's front...it is kind of cool because I have never seen anything like it. I am probably not going to use it, but it is cool anyway.

As shown by the recent EBP debacle, premade scripts are a recipe for disaster. I suggest you hire someone with significant web programming skills to make a custom script. From there, you need to figure out some affiliates and sign up with them. A lot of the best affiliates (i.e. CPAEmpire) no longer accept incentives so you're going to have a hard time.

That's why you hire a reputable person.

it is a work in progress right now. I am just making it to test out some flash skills. I should be able to complete it over the next couple days if I start working harder on it.

it seems stupid and pointless to use flash for something like that. you reduce the amount of people that can view your site and open up security issues (decompiling swfs, etc) as well as making the interface awkward (as a general rule).

there's a reason html is the de-facto standard of the web...

Ok well I guess your 3 main point are
1)Rudece Amount of People
2)Security Issues
3)Awkward Interface

well even though this will never be used it is more as a learning experience for myself (eh more of a testing experience).

1)I don't know the exact numbers and I am not going to pretend I do, but most of the people who use the internet have flash. Not only that but there are many scripts that use the browser to detect whether or not a user has flash and ask them if they want to download it.

2)Because of most of the script not actually being in flash (I don't know how much you know about flash, but it is impossible to put the scripting in flash), it has the same security flaws as any other site.

3)As far as awkward interface that is up to the user, but I could design it so that you may not even be able to tell that the site is flash (except for maybe a quick loading). I mean it could look and feel the exact same as a trainn or freepay or any other site you use.

I feel that addresses your concerns. Feel free to point out anything I missed, but like I did use some details as we can discuss it and not use the traditional "uh uh I am right" that occurs in arguements on message boards.

I dont like the idea of small free sites that have to wait for checks to clear before they ship gifts because of a lack of initial funding..... The chanches of ANY small free site surviving are slim to none.... leave the freebie business to Freepay, OC and Tranin...

I completely disagree. However, I do believe every new site that has sprung up lately has had several major, MAJOR flaws. You did point out one, that is the lack of initial funding. I think running one of these sites to be another freepay is possible, but not going to happen from the 18 year olds here that start these sites.

So are you setting up a freesite for sure or what?

Actually I said that I wasn't. I have most of a script done for one, but only for practice in using some of these techniques. I guess once it is complete I have all the tools to build one and a lot of ideas that would help, but I am not sure I would actually do it.
