Well it is 2 hours till best buy opens here and I am thinking about heading out and using the $500 best buy gift card I got from trainn to buy some nice stuff for a lot cheaper than normal. Anyone else plan on going out on a crazy buying spree???

Yeah I know what it will be like, but also you must remember I don't live in a huge town. This is no miami or la or ny. Lets put it this way, at midnight on the relase date for the xbox360 there were only 3 people outside my lcoal bestbuy.

Looks like there is something that I have to man up to. I went and there was anywhere from 100-200 people outside my local best buy. The entire parking lot was full and people had like chairs and blankets and shit. Damn people will go through anything for a mediocre deal.

I went to try to get my sister the laptop deal at Circuit City. This little town is crazy! I went out on Black Friday 2 years ago and just walked into officemax and staples as they opened, with no problems... This year every store around here has a line wrapped around the building.
We got there at 430 for the 5am opening... Needless to say we didn't get any laptops, but we were some of the lucky ones that actually got in the store when it opened. I got a fricken cordless phone and flash memory... one of each flavor. As we were leaving there was still a huge line of people just waiting to get in the damn store. Who's stupid enough to wait in line for other people to finish shopping, so you can get in there just to find that everything is sold out? It's called fatwallet.com people. These deals aren't even as good as many that you can get in on all year... and you usually don't have to leave your living room.
Shit I'm rambling on because I'm on a no sleep, coffee high.

Just got back from it, and that was the biggest disappointment ever. Ive been going to Black Friday for years now, but there was nothing, the stores werent stocked worth shit, and planning this year was horrible. Im going to go die now.

Bought 2 camcorders and was planning to sell on ebay.
Bestbuy Panasonic $289 and Sony $499
But I am gonna refund it... not worth it to sell.
In my local bestbuy, Most ppl bought 2 - 3 Insignia Portable DVD players for $69.99 after $50 rebate. I dunno what is it good for.
At Walmart, my friend told me that people already waited inside at midnight and hold their items and check out at 5.

my bestbuy had 15 xbox 360s, they were gone by the time the vouchers got to us.
I was at bestbuy from 10PM thursday until it opened. Didn't sleep at all, made some friends and we played "scene it" which was fun.
But yea, I got the eMachine for $150 and im using it right now.. get this
I got the LAST voucher for the eMachine. I was so happy, you dont even know!!!!!
Not a bad system..
Ok im out to eat then off to bed. Crap I have to work today too -(

The laptop was with a year of AOL at Circuit City, but it was just 370 instant rebate at Best Buy.
Or maybe I have the two mixed up.
But the EMachines was 100 with AOL at one place, and 150 without AOL at the other.
Sadly, I got nothing, since my parents wouldn't lend me 300 dollars to be able to buy the laptop, and I already have that same eMachines that I bought for 400 a while ago.
Too bad x When trainn pays me next week I'll be uber depressed that I have the money and no time machine.
Just got back from officedepot, we got a HP computer + monitor + printer for $200, a 19 inch LCD monitor for $200, and a 27 inch monitor/tv for $500.

lol this year's black friday was such shit...... the only thing I wanted was a Netgear Super G Router/Note Book Card bundle for $30 from Staples cause the wireless B router Im currently using has a fucked transmitter. It was funny to see fools line up for shite sales they could have gotten at varios other points of the year.
I dont need the notebook card so im gonna try to sell it on ebay for 30$

This one guy packing my bags was so distracted that he put an extra power strip in there. Someone with less scruples could've really taken advantage of that....and probably did.
