Anyone else having these?
It freezes up at odd intervals (about 4 hours into it sometimes) or just shuts down randomly(only happened once).
Ive been on other boards and heard rumors of a recall on 30% of them.
So, i guess what im trying to ask is , will i be able to return mine for a new one when the next shipment arrives , even though there are numerous more people o "Waiting" lists now?

I had a launch date ps2 and what I ended up having to do was send it back to sony and they fixed it. I know they fixed it because it was all the same barcodes and stuff. This may be what you will have to do.
